South my specially happy our countrythe karst from the application world natural heritage, its worldvalue, its international value and the significance further unfolds inthe world scientist and the world people's front. We knew, south ourcountry karst regardless of or said from the scientific value from thelandscape value, in the world all is unequalled. I now am deep feelsouth our country the karst regardless of from its formation, thedevelopment, its history, the type, as well as it in many aspectshydrology geology and the karst science itself latent value, we by farhad not now known, our country scientific worker has the count formuch responsibility and the arduous duty in this aspect. Weknew the military prosperous karst basis geology environment and thegeological condition, is composed by a series of karst, has theplateau karst, the canyon karst, wraps the gas range karst, a seriesof karst characteristic. In other words has ancient, has the newstudent, moreover has the extremely young karst, therefore hasprovided us the rich research content. We also expected theinternational expert in this aspect further cooperation, the karstsets up a model south our country, causes its protection work, causesits scientific research, causes its scientific price profoundunfolding in our country scientist, our country people and the worldpeople's front.

As a long-term research karst study the person, I feels south ourcountry the unique rich resources, specially prominent karstlandscape. Everybody has a look the satellite picture, in the worldkarst is reflects in the hygienic picture intensely. 各位领导、国内外的各位专家，与会的所有代表，女士们、先生们，我很高兴作为一位科学工作者、作为武隆喀斯特申报的参与人站在这个讲台能够发表我的一些个人看法，感到非常的高兴。

首先，热烈祝贺我国南方喀斯特首开记录，去年申报世界自然遗产成功！我特别高兴我国南方喀斯特从申请世界自然遗产，它的世界价值，它的国际价值和意义进一步展现在世界科学家和世界人民的面前。我们知道，我国南方喀斯特无论从科学价值还是从景观价值来说，在世界上都是无与伦比的。我现在深深的感到我国南方喀斯特无论从它的形成、发展，它的历史、类型，以及它在许多方面的水文地质和喀斯特科学本身潜在价值，我们现在还远远没有认识，我国科学工作者在这方面有非常重要的责任和繁重的任务。我国第一批世界遗产??南方喀斯特申报成功，我认为是一个开始。

刚才王司长在这方面发表了很多，我感到非常的振奋。武隆喀斯特的科学价值、科学内容、景观价值以及它在科学上潜在的许多问题可以说我们现在还不太清楚，我们只是对它有了一些初步的认识。昨天，我们的考察，专家们的谈论也进一步说明了这个问题。我举一个例子，昨天专家问我，天生三桥到了乌江，你有什么证据，仅仅如此，只凭你的经验，这说明我们还需要做大量的工作。我很高兴我们这次在考察中有一个内容，就是重庆市武隆县授予岩溶地质研究所重庆岩溶地质研究院的牌，这就表示重庆市人民政府和武隆县人民政府对武隆喀斯特并没有终止工作，而是开始，成立了一个喀斯特研究院在我国是史无前例的，作为武隆喀斯特，它为继续进行科学研究奠定了良好的基础，我感到非常高兴，同时特别期望这样一个研究院能够有它实际的工作，每年都有科学进展。我们知道武隆喀斯特根据地质环境和地质条件，是由一系列的喀斯特组成的，有高原喀斯特、峡谷喀斯特，包气带喀斯特，一系列的喀斯特特征。也就是说有古老的，有新生的，而且有非常年轻的喀斯特，因此提供了我们丰富的研究内容。我们也期望国际专家在这方面进一步的合作，在我国南方喀斯特树立一个典范，使它的保护工作，使它的科学研究，使它的科学价值更深刻的展现在我国科学家，我国人民和世界人民的面前。

作为一位长期研究喀斯特的学人，我感到我国南方喀斯特有丰富的资源，特别突出的喀斯特景观。大家看看卫星照片，世界上的喀斯特在卫生照片上是反映得最为强烈。我们的南方喀斯特，我们知道这一段，近十几年来，我们又发现了非常大的坑，不管把它叫做天坑也好，不管把它叫做都林也好，但它多是特别突出的喀斯特新内容，我们现在对它的认识还是非常的初步，它在世界上也是非常突出的。我国下一个自然遗产应该是奉节的小寨天坑喀斯特系统，广西落叶的（大山为）喀斯特，当然还有贵州的喀斯特，还有其他的喀斯特系统。我们知道重庆南川的金佛山喀斯特也是非常突出的，我们南方最古老的洞穴就在那个山顶上，眼前100多米的调高，几十公里形成二灰岩的喀斯特活动，它的生物多样性更不用说。

因此，我期望我国的科学工作者能够在我国南方喀斯特申遗工作中进一步作出我们自己的贡献，我们不要忘记我国南方喀斯特是一个特殊的领域，谢谢大家！
